The Gospel of St. Matthew

"Fulfilling the Words of the Prophets"

In this year of St. Matthew, we offer a special study of this Gospel. Tradition attributes the book to Matthew, the tax collector, one of our Lord's chosen Twelve Apostles. He is said to have written it originally in Aramaic for Jewish believers in the area of Palestine and Syria.

Our earliest text comes from its translation into Greek. It was structured on seven parts, with five extended dialogues, including the Sermon on the Mount. This study will offer new insight into the true teachings and purpose of our Lord Jesus Christ. So join us for for a very rich feast of the Spirit.
